Heather Figi,
Heather Figi, PMHNP-BC is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and substance use concerns. Heather takes a collaborative, patient-centered approach and works closely with each individual to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals and values.
Heather earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Frontier Nursing University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University, graduating summa cum laude. She began her nursing career after completing her Associate of Applied Science degree from Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. She is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Virginia and Maryland and holds RN licenses in Oregon and Wisconsin. She also maintains DEA licensure in both states.
Heather has experience in inpatient psychiatry, residential treatment for adolescents, and outpatient and telehealth psychiatric care. Her approach integrates medication management, lifestyle interventions, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care. She is especially interested in integrative mental health and helping patients develop sustainable strategies that support long-term wellness.
Outside of her clinical work, Heather enjoys movement, music, and outdoor activities, and has a long-standing interest in the connection between creativity, movement, and mental health.
