Mary Rodman, LCSW

Mary Jouett Rodman, LCSW is a graduate of the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. With nearly 20 years of experience in social work, Mary brings a holistic and systems-oriented perspective to both the macro and micro needs of individuals and communities.

Mary focuses on creating sustainable healing through strength-based systems of care. Her clinical approach integrates motivational interviewing, self-compassion principles, embodied practices, and person-centered therapy to support meaningful and lasting change.  She has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, eating disorders, and body dysmorphic disorder, along with a wide range of other mental health concerns.

Mary has also provided clinical supervision to emerging clinicians and previously led a team of clinical and crisis workers across two counties as part of the Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS) program in Illinois.  Her professional training includes participation in a trauma-informed care symposium at Northwestern University and advanced training through the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders. She is also certified through the American Association of Bariatric Counselors.

Throughout her career, Mary has worked across diverse clinical and community settings, including outpatient treatment, therapeutic day schools, foster care systems, and programs supporting runaway and displaced youth.
